Levels from Rookie to Legend
Your level shows how consistently you trade. It follows your TSR and changes over time as you build a stronger trading process. You usually start around 1000 while the system gets to know you.
Rookie0–899
You are building the foundation.
Focus on creating good habits, journaling, and following your risk plan.
Contender900–1099
You trade with a plan.
You make thoughtful decisions and start showing consistency in risk management and execution.
Skilled1100–1299
Your process holds over time.
You follow your plan even when the market challenges you. Consistently good decisions become a habit and lucky hits affect you less.
Expert1300–1499
High discipline, strong results.
You show high discipline regardless of market and setup. Your performance at this level is stable and reliable.
Elite1500–1699
You belong among the best.
You show consistently high quality in your trading process.
Master1700–1899
Elite consistency at scale.
Exceptional discipline and the ability to perform at a high level over a long time.
Legend1900+
The highest level.
You have shown exceptional quality and consistency over a long time. A role model for other traders.
Two ways to measure your progress
TSR · Trading Skill Rating
Your TSR. It moves when you close and journal trades that get rated. Strong risk management and consistent results lift you — not how many posts you write.
XP · Activity
Points for participating: posts, comments, lives, and more. XP unlocks activity levels. It is never mixed into the TSR ranking.
How TSR works
From trade to level
TSR measures how consistently you trade. It is not about winning every trade, but about following a good process over time.
Trade according to a plan.
Set entry, stop and at least one target, and write your thesis before you enter.
Close and reflect.
When the trade is closed, fill in the journal and write a short reflection. Without a complete journal, the trade does not count.
The trade is evaluated.
Each trade is evaluated on how well you followed your plan, how you managed risk, and how you executed. The result is only part of the picture.
Higher level, higher demands.
The higher the level you reach, the higher the demands for consistent, disciplined execution. What suffices at a lower level may not suffice at a higher one.
Consistency is rewarded.
Every trade affects your TSR. Good decisions repeated over time raise your TSR. Recurring deviations from your plan lower it.
Verified trades from connected brokers (e.g. RoboMarkets) weigh more than self-reported ones. Both live and demo trades count toward ranking and are clearly marked. Pure ideas do not count.
Qualifying phase and ranking
How Skill Arena, leaderboards and levels work with TSR.
Start in the qualifying phase
All new traders start in the qualifying phase. TSR gets time to find your level by evaluating your trades. After enough rated trades you appear on the public leaderboard.
Inactivity
If you are inactive for too long you are hidden from the active leaderboard. Your TSR does not disappear. When you start trading and journaling again you become active automatically.
Time period
The leaderboard can be viewed for different time periods.
- Day – shows today's results
- Week – shows this week's results
- Month – shows this month's results
- Overall – shows your permanent TSR
Your total TSR is not affected by which filter you view.
XP levels
You earn XP by contributing to the community, e.g. approved posts, comments and livestreams. XP raises your community level but does not affect your TSR or level.
Livestream
To start a livestream in the Community you need:
- Pro, VIP or Trader
- Finished with the qualifying phase
- Hold at least TSR level Skilled or higher
