Security in AMO Community
How we protect you as a member and what you can do to keep your account safe.
1. Protect your account
- Use a unique, strong password (at least 12 characters) that you do not reuse elsewhere.
- Manage your password and account security under Settings → Account. Two-factor authentication (2FA) is not available in the app yet.
- Never log in via links in email or chat — always go directly to amotrades.app.
2. Phishing and fraud
AMO Trades will never ask for your password, 2FA code, or bank/crypto details via DM, chat, or email. Coaches and support only contact you via verified channels. If someone poses as AMO and asks for details, it is fraud and you are asked to report it to us immediately.
3. Fake signal accounts
Official signals always come from the "AMO Signals" bot in the Hub from a verified COACH account. If you suspect someone is impersonating a coach — use the report button.
4. External links and files
Do not click unknown links or download unknown files from members you do not know. AMO Trades never uploads executable files to chat.
5. Report a security incident
Do you suspect someone has gained unauthorised access to your account, or do you want to report a security issue? Contact us at support@amotrades.app. We prioritise security matters and normally respond within 24 hours.
